Thank you for your interest in TransferChain. TransferChain prioritizes privacy in the design, architecture and operation of its products and services. We respect and understand the importance of your privacy and therefore, are committed to extending complete protection to the personal information of everyone who either use our products and services or (to) be part of the TransferChain team. We prepared this policy to inform you as to how we process your personal data during our hiring processes. Thank you for taking the time to read this.

We collect your personal data electronically through applications made via TransferChain’s website, e-mails that you might send to or reaching out to you through Social Networking sites. If you choose to apply through our website, you will be redirected to, a third-party website that processes your personal data (further detailed below) on behalf of us. Having said that, the data controller for the processing of your personal data in the hiring process is the TransferChain entity in the country where the job you apply for is located or from which you would work if you were offered a job at TransferChain.

Your collected personal data includes your identity and contact information, work experience, education, other information that you may have indicated in your application documents.

We use this information to communicate with you throughout the hiring process, evaluate your competence for the considered job, and to carry out the hiring process. If we choose to take your application further, we will use the information that you provided to verify your information and carry out reference checks, to prepare your employment agreement, to assist you with obtaining an immigration visa or work permit (in case necessary and/or requested by you); and to comply with applicable laws, regulations, legal processes or enforceable governmental requests.

When you apply for a role at TransferChain, we process information about you in order to take steps necessary to enter into a possible employment contract with you. Further, we collect and process information about you as necessary for our legitimate interest to assess if you are suitable for the position you have applied for at TransferChain. Your personal data collected during the hiring process will not be shared with any third party and you have the right to withdraw such consent at any time by contacting us.

Where personal data collected within the EU/EEA is transferred to and processed by third parties located in a country outside of the EU/EEA, TransferChain shall ensure that the transfer of your personal data is carried out in accordance with applicable privacy laws and, in particular, that appropriate contractual, technical, and organisational measures are in place such as the Standard Contractual Clauses approved by the EU Commission.

If your application is unsuccessful, we retain your personal data for a maximum period of 6 (six) months. Subject to your prior consent to be asked in the interview processes, we may also retain your personal data for as long as allowed under applicable laws in order to consider you for future job opportunities at TransferChain.

You may send us queries for all your rights stemming from applicable data protection laws (such as requesting information as to which of your personal data is being processed or as to erasure of your personal data.
